This park is the only park in the north part of our city. This part of the city was developed before pocket parks became important. When the city bought this land, the local Rotary Club paid for the landscape.
The city then named the park in honor of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables. The plants in this park are all natives to our area. It sort of looks like the open land in the city of my youth (with out the grass).
