The Ae Ae Banana Starting Fruit

The cold winter killed most of the leaves on this banana plant and the leaves are too few to grow a good crop of fruit. I cut the flower stem off and now the plant will try to make new pups. It takes 12 to 18 months for a good pup to produce fruit.
