Bismarkii nobilis has two color forms, a green leaf or a silver-blue leaf. The silver is the popular form. In Homestead the nurseries have large stands of the silver form. Most are sold as mature plants with little trunk. As the palm ages the only thing that changes is the increase of trunk. If you put it in your garden for the fronds to fit into the design be careful, in time the leaves will be above the rest of the landscape. I have a palm that looks like the Bismarkii , but much larger. A picture of my talipot was uploaded on March 29th.
