In the spring a friend gave me a lotus plant and I planted it in a small pool. It grew for three months and then a baby waterlily popped up. A waterlily seed must have hidden in the roots in the lotus. Its 5 to 6 months old and the flowers should now only get bigger and better. Oh, the lotus didn't bloom the season.
