One Of Our Stone Houses

The rock for this house was taken from a pit across the street. When the pit was big enough, the city made it into a pool. A pit in the middle of the city would not be very interesting. Many visitors come to see the pool just to see the beauty and not to swim.

Jade Vine / Strongylodon Macrobotrys

It should be blooming by now. This morning the temperature was 40f, cold enough to damage some tropical plants. This morning the temperature was 40f, cold enough to damage some tropical plants. This has been happening for all of January and February. Last year the vines were beautiful.

There is only one little growth since December. About 70% of the growth has died away.

A Fixer Up

The house has been for sale for years. It was empty most of the time and a bite rundown. Last year the owner painted the outside of the house. The problem might be that the land is more valuable then the house.
