This orchid grows in the ground like any other shrub. The flower lasts for only one day. But new flowers open every few days during the fall.

TOG: Healing arts - retired, that's why I'm a non-profit. I have grown orchids for over 60 years. I grow the Ae Ae banana. Since other avatars seem to be slightly younger then I would expect, I have gone along with the trend. Yes it is me when I was an undergraduate.
